Yoga for Tight Hips
Tight hips are one of the things I hear about most from students, and it makes sense. We sit a lot, we walk and run and hike and carry things, and the hips hold onto all of it.
These are some of my favorite classes to teach. They move slowly where it helps, build a little strength where it matters, and take good care of the low back and knees along the way. Whether you have ten minutes or most of an hour, there is a practice here for you.
My whole library is free while I rebuild it.

Good to know
How often should I practice yoga for tight hips?
A little, often. Ten or fifteen minutes three or four times a week will do more for your hips than one long class every now and then. Start with a short one and build from there.
Are these classes okay for beginners?
Yes. I cue every pose clearly and offer options along the way, so you can work at the level that feels right in your body that day.
What do I need?
A mat is all you need. A block or a firm pillow is helpful in a few poses, and a strap or a towel is nice to have.
