Lakshmi Ashtakam

The Lakshmi Ashtakam is a potent and revered mantra that invokes and celebrates the goddess Lakshmi in all of her forms: abundance and prosperity, beauty and love, generosity and radiance. This chant has long been practiced as a way of calling in support, strength, and luminous energy.

Some teachings say that if you recite this mantra three times daily, all boons will come. Whether or not you chant with that discipline, simply listening or singing along can uplift your mood, open your heart, and attune you to a sense of flow and possibility.

I recorded this as an offering for students who have practiced with me in person and know chanting as part of my classes, as well as for anyone new to mantra practice who feels curious to explore. There’s no need to get it perfect. Let yourself listen, hum, or join in as much or as little as you like, and notice how the vibration shifts your energy.
